Synopsis

A warm and bittersweet drama based on the internationally beloved manga by Shinzo Keigo. Ikuta Hiroto (Okayama Amane), 29, has no job, no romantic partner, and none of the usual worries about the future. Drawn to his easygoing personality, a local elderly woman gives him a single-story house. He begins living with his 18-year-old cousin Natsumi (Mori Nana), who has just moved to Tokyo from Yamagata. Before long, people carrying quiet burdens begin to gather around him.
