Astro Bot คว้า Game of the Year, Balatro, Metaphor: Refantazio คว้า 3 รางวัล ตามด้วย Black Myth: Wukong, Helldivers 2 รางวัล
คอเกมได้เฮส่งท้ายปี กับความชื่นใจที่ได้เห็นเกมที่ตนเองชื่นชอบได้รับรางวัลจากเวที The Game Awards 2024 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเมื่อช่วงเช้าที่ผ่านมา และเป็นการเฉลิมฉลองโอกาสครบรอบ 10 ปี ในปีนี้
The Game Awards จัดขึ้นโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อยกระดับความสร้างสรรค์และการพัฒนาด้านเทคนิคของอุตสาหกรรมเกมทั่วโลกให้ดียิ่งขึ้นไป อีกทั้งยังเป็นการรวมพลังของผู้พัฒนาเกมตลอดจนถึงผู้เล่น เพื่อช่วยกันขับเคลื่อนให้วงการเกมเดินไปข้างหน้าอย่างมั่นคง
การประกาศผลรางวัลในปีนี้ นอกจากทุกคนจะได้เชียร์เกมที่ทุกคนรักให้คว้ารางวัลใหญ่แล้ว ยังได้ตื่นเต้นกับเทรลเลอร์เกมใหม่มากมายที่เตรียมวางจำหน่าย รวมถึงโชว์สุดพิเศษจากแรปเปอร์คอเกมตัวพ่อ สนู๊ป ด็อกก์ (Snoop Dogg) ที่ขึ้นเวทีเปิดตัวซิงเกิ้ลล่าสุด และแคมเปญ Fortnite Festival ที่เพอร์ฟอร์มในเกมฮิตอีกด้วย
