True AF 2026 The Series – Chapter 3: Brave

True AF 2026 The Series – Chapter 3: Brave
Get to Know the Three Dream Hunters “Arm – Forth – Nami” Who Harnessed Courage to Overcome Every Obstacle and Advance to the Final Audition Round.

The path to stardom is paved with countless factors, yet every aspirant must first pass through the same fundamental threshold: the courage to step out of the shadows and into the spotlight. That spirit of bravery is deeply embedded in the souls of “Arm – Forth – Nami,” the three dream hunters of True AF 2026.

Chapter 5: AF041 The Serendipity of Mr. Arm

Many people spend their entire lives chasing opportunities and hunting dreams. For Arm – Thanakorn Khaengkhetkit, a 26-year-old Air Force soldier blessed with good fortune, opportunity came running toward him before he could even brace himself.

In primary school, the young man was as mischievous as any typical boy. He admits that during those years he was more interested in friends than studies or music, despite having a father who was a well-known luk thung singer in Uthai Thani province.

The turning point arrived in his early teens. His older brother frequently brought friends home to play guitar and sing in front of the house. Arm began to observe and grew curious enough to ask his brother’s friends for basic lessons. Seeing potential in his younger sibling, the brother bought him a CD for self-teaching acoustic guitar by Professor Daeng.

“At first, I intended to play only guitar,” Arm recalled. “But when I entered secondary school, my friends who played music with me were better at guitar, and the band needed a singer. Since I wasn’t very good at guitar anyway, I offered to try singing (laughs). I didn’t even know whether I could sing at the time, but that’s where it started.”

What began as casual guitar sessions with friends gradually became more serious. After entering a school folk song competition, Arm experienced the thrill of performance. “When I got on stage and saw the audience below enjoying it, I thought, ‘Why does this feel so good?’ So I kept singing.” Watching senior bands at school further ignited his passion, motivating him to train more diligently.

A major crossroads came after he finished Mathayom 6 (Grade 12). Arm had to choose between studying communications at university like many others or following his older brother’s advice — who was already in the Navy — and applying to military academy.

“I was quite rebellious and not particularly interested in further studies,” he said. “I promised my brother, so I had a female friend fill out the application for me because I knew nothing about the process. I thought it would probably be a fluke (laughs). I hadn’t even done ROTC. I just wanted to try and see what military life was like, so I chose that path and was accepted into the Air Force.”

Once enlisted, fate led Arm to the Air Force’s international music club, which broadened his horizons and exposed him to the remarkable talents of his peers and seniors. Then came the pivotal moment: he happened to see a clip posted by Chai – Tianchai Serirat (AF038), an old friend from middle school who had helped form a band a decade earlier. Gathering his courage, Arm reached out for information and decided to audition.

Though he entered almost by chance, Arm fought his way through to the final audition round, an outcome that surprised even himself. It was his first-ever competition, and he had advanced further than he ever imagined.

“I just came to try it out,” Arm said with a good-humored laugh. “I didn’t think I was that good because I had never competed in any show before. I simply gave my all. Whether I made it or not didn’t matter, but I wanted to try. I also enjoy meeting new people. Everyone here is incredibly talented.”

Chapter 6: AF091 Forth – Fighting for a Better Version

After failing her first audition round, one young woman refused to let disappointment defeat her. Instead, she summoned her courage and immediately booked tickets for the next audition. After traveling to every regional round, Forth – Apisara Namwong, a 19-year-old with a distinctive sense of style, finally earned the judges’ approval and advanced to the final audition.

This poised young woman has grown up with an unwavering dream of becoming an artist. She has devoted herself to rigorous training in singing, dancing, playing instruments, and even rapping, largely inspired by her idol, Lisa of BLACKPINK. Participating in True AF 2026 represents a significant milestone, and Forth approached it with total commitment regardless of the outcome.

“For my future, I dream of becoming an artist,” she said. “I believe everything is experience. If we don’t step out and try, we won’t improve or develop ourselves. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll take the judges’ feedback and use it to get better.”

Although she had prepared herself mentally, Forth admitted feeling disappointed after the first audition. Yet she did not feel like a failure, knowing she had given her absolute best and found joy in performing for the judges.

“I think in the past I may have put too much pressure on myself,” Forth said with a bright smile. “I felt I had done my best, but it still wasn’t enough. I may have sung beautifully, but perhaps there wasn’t yet something that made the judges choose me. So I realized I needed to develop further and be myself as much as possible.”

Her persistence paid off. She advanced to the final audition and joined the workshop with many new friends, exactly as she had hoped. Her spirit was renewed by the unwavering support of her parents, who never left their talented daughter to face the journey alone.

“I feel so happy,” she said. “I can see that all the effort I put in has truly borne fruit. I’m incredibly grateful to my father and mother for being my support through all four regions. Without them, I might not have fought this hard. They never criticized me no matter what I decided and have supported me the whole time. And… I feel very proud of myself for fighting through to all four regions.”

With such abundant encouragement and a relentlessly positive mindset, it is no surprise that the judges yielded to her courage. Forth also offered advice to fellow dream chasers:

“I just want myself to feel very happy when I’m on stage — no stress, no pressure. Because we are already talented; reaching this point means we are already good. I hope my feeling reaches all the judges. To everyone with a dream, I want you to step forward and pursue it. Nothing comes easily. Everything requires effort, heart, and action. If you truly love what you do, it is absolutely worth it.”

Chapter 7: AF058 Nami’s Tears

This young girl, barely into her teens, broke down sobbing in front of the five judges during her audition — not out of fear, but because her intense desire to perform her best had become overwhelming pressure she could no longer carry.

Nami – Patchasita Rotthasitphakin, the youngest dream hunter of True AF 2026, has shown artistic talent since early childhood. Beginning modeling and appearing in commercials at the age of five, she has lived under the spotlight, which ignited her dream of becoming a singer and actress while she was still in kindergarten.

After years of honing her skills in singing, dancing, and entertaining audiences, inspired by two favorite artists — Na (Rattan Janprasit), lead singer of POLYCAT, and Lisa (Lalisa Manobal) of BLACKPINK — Nami’s mother one day approached her with an audition announcement for AF in hand, saying, “The opportunity has arrived. You must go and try.”

Her mother, who has stood by her daughter’s side through every step, encouraged Nami to seize the moment, unwilling to let such dedication and opportunity slip away.

Despite her prior experience in the entertainment industry, the wait amid thousands of fellow dream hunters transformed Nami’s usual confidence into immense pressure, causing her to shed tears unconsciously.

“There were so many things going through my mind,” Nami said openly. “Worries, pressure — I was putting pressure on myself too. Because I had high hopes that since I came all this way, I wanted to go as far as possible. With those hopes came quite high pressure. I didn’t want to disappoint my family, the people cheering for me, or my friends.”

Despite the heavy burden, Nami ultimately overcame it. She successfully advanced to the top 100 and arrived at the workshop with 98 fellow dreamers. She described the group as feeling like a large family. She sensed that no one had come merely to compete; instead, they were ready to support, help, and encourage one another, forging rare friendships and warmth rarely found in other competitions.

The tears born of opening-day pressure have been replaced by smiles. The two days of workshops became a new source of strength, reinforcing Nami’s determination to continue chasing her dream.

“Personally, I want to keep going,” she said. “Even though it’s tiring and there are moments of discouragement, if we keep fighting, I believe one day we will succeed.”
